​I am part of a Facebook group filled with smart, beautiful professional woman. One day, one of those very successful women, posted she was in need of a therapist. From the outside, no one would think she was not “ok” but she certainly was not. Though she was working, she did not have insurance. Her post was a plea for a therapist who had a sliding scale. A few of the group's women trusted me enough to tag me in the comments assuring her I would be able to help. They were absolutely correct. 

 

It would be my honor to assist any woman in need but especially this woman. She is the kind of woman who cares and inspires other women. This was proven in the amount of women who were willing to pay for her sessions. There is something amazing about women supporting other women.  

 

Years ago, God gave me the vision of starting a non profit in order to serve those who are under served. I asked each of those women to hold their financial offering because I believed those donations could be used to start something amazing. God’s vision was coming to fruition and My Sacred Space Counseling was born. My Sacred Space is a faith based, non profit center dedicated to providing caring and competent counseling services to those who are uninsured or under insured.
